Size Youth...

Years ago I lived in a town with a Patagonia Outlet. At the time I was so broke that I would buy jackets and other outerwear in youth sizes...always size 14 or XL. Not for everyone and being pre-kids I was able to get away with it. It was great having the same quality at a mere fraction of the cost - why pay more for an adult size if the youth fit? This got me thinking about some of the latest Crewcuts fashions. If the shoe fits...how cute would some of these be?

For the love of stripes...

I have always been a fan of stripes and there is no denying it. My friends even tease me about my so called obsession. I thought it was appropriate for Memorial Day Weekend to share a few shots of my favorite celebrities donning them. I do hope you have a fabulous holiday weekend!

Jenny Packham...

I'm not a girlie girl by any means but I have fallen for this designer. My newly engaged girlfriend turned me on while we were hunting for her ideal dress. Better known for her wedding dresses, Jenny Packham also has an amazing ready to wear line. I wanted to share with you a few of my favorites pieces from her Spring 2011 Collection.

How amazing is the final dress?

Kiddos...

If this little guy looks this good can you imagine what his mama holding the fur shrug next to him looks like? I just love his little pom-pom socks - bebe matador! Via The Sartorialist.

I find little kids with huge wild hair adorable - perhaps this is why my little guy has never had a hair cut.  Another note: When buying footwear for the little ones you must go with the classic sneaks. Via Toica Stefan.

Seeing hip dresses like these for the little ladies has me day-dreaming about having a little girl. How cute is her bob? Via nonchalantmom.

Closet Case...

A good friend of mine turned me on to this amazing local Southern California handbag designer. I have become slightly obsessed. Clare Vivier is not only extremely talented but gorgeous. A few weeks ago while visiting Clare's blog I stumbled across a few photos of her taken by a fellow creative type {Jeana Sohn}. How fantastic is the bag she is holding? I love the grosgrain ribbon adornment.

A closet visit - how often to you get to see inside someone's closet and have them play dress-up? Too much fun when the subject has such an interesting wardrobe and closet as this lady.
