J + C

Here are a few random shots from Joe + Clare's big day last week. I wish that I was more diligent with the image taking however there were too many folks to play with and way too much fun to be had. My favorite is the last one...I love both of their smiles. Yesterday the happy couple started their journey to South East Asia where they will be living for the next two years. Bon Voyage J + C...we wish you all the best in Singapore and can't wait to come visit!

The Groom and his favorite buds rode their bikes to the wedding site {Joe works for Specialized}.

Garden Dalias.

Farm Animals {they all made their presence be known during the ceremony}.

Flower girl, one of the SIL's and the Bride.

Wedding Bouquet.

Cutest couple.

Weekend love...

This past weekend was amazing. Two nights away with my husband sans our beloved children-our first trip without the wee ones!! One of our closest friends tied the knot in an amazing mountain wedding. The venue was nestled among the beautiful Bonny Doon Mountains and majestic redwood trees...there were even farm animals. We truly enjoyed spending time with the bride and groom, seeing old friends and making new ones along the way. A weekend filled with much laughter and love.

One of my favorite moments during our time away was a walk down the Capitola Pier...just a short bike ride away from where my husband and I fell in love - we were neighbors when we met but that's another story. Our morning after the big event reminded me of those simple days we shared while getting to know one another - before buying a house, before getting married and having our incredible children. A cup of joe in hand + a leisurely stroll with the one I love = Bliss!

7.23.2011...

Yesterday was filled with much love, laughter and light. A dear friend of mine married the man of her dreams and it was the most meaningful and spiritual union I have ever experienced. I am still high from it all and I hope I never come down. Lisa and Pete, we wish you all the happiness in the world...love love.

Your love lifts my soul from the body to the sky
And you lift me up out of the two worlds.
I want your sun to reach my raindrops,
So your heat can raise my soul upward like a cloud.
