As part of my birthday celebration Adam and I got tickets to see Bon Iver play at Spreckels. Was anyone as fortunate as I to see them? It was an amazing show and perhaps the best seats I have ever had for a sit down show. The only other time I was almost front row center was when I saw Sonic Youth play in my early 20's, standing room only, and I was squished between sweaty fans and the stage {even with the discomfort I was still loved seeing Kim and Thurston up close}. No sweaty fans here, only a couple of die hard fans in front of us with their cell phones out for the entire show recording every moment. Here are a few snaps from the Iphone from Friday night.
